A day in the life: 

  • Provide technical sales support for Tasktop’s account managers
  • Deliver the value prop and technical demonstrations of all Tasktop solutions
  • Build relationships with prospects and become a dependable go-to person for Tasktop technical information
  • Support marketing initiatives by attending conferences and participating in webinars
  • Serve as a customer advocate to other Tasktop teams including Product, Engineering, and Customer Success
  • Candidates are expected to remotely support direct pre-sales activity in North America.  Minimal travel (20%) is expected.
  • This position is open to remote candidates in the US and Canada.  Strong candidates in other locations will be considered.



No PreSales experience is required for this role, so it would be great if you had one or more of the following:

  • Experience in a role related to building software.  For example: 
    • Agile (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) 
    • Project or Product Management
    • Requirements Management
    • Software Testing/QA
    • DevOps
  • Experience in an enterprise software company.  For example: 
    • Sales Development Role (SDR or BDR)
    • Marketing or Product Marketing
    • Customer Success
    • Channel or Partner Role
    • Information Security


Skills Needed:

  • Capability to work independently and take full responsibility for projects. 
  • Self-starter with high energy and a curious mind, comfortable with ambiguity in entrepreneurial environments. 
  • Strong relationship building skills. Ability to work closely and collaboratively with stakeholders across organizations. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with a high level of professionalism
  • Strong project management and problem solving skills. Ability to prioritize work and set expectations amongst stakeholders. 
  • Natural curiosity for understanding and solving technical problems.  When meeting with partners or customers, you need to be able to listen to their issues, work out which are the most important problems that need addressing immediately and filter out the rest.
  • Familiarity with work or task management tools like Trello, Jira, Azure DevOps, Asana, Monday.com, etc
  • Basic understanding of Javascript is beneficial
